What Your Kids Learn:
Scanning–The very act of “gobbling” increases motivation for scanning the field of play for something to gobble up!
Seriation –The ability to “gobble” up different pieces helps solidify understanding of size in a series, as well as maintaining motivation to practice the skill.
Memory – This is a great game for helping learners with autism and other developmental delays who struggle with recall. It provides lots of opportunity for recall of very recent events, such as “Does that Gobbler have smaller Gobbler underneath?”
Strategy/Logical Thinking –This is an easy-to-learn game of strategy. Players must remember where smaller pieces are hidden once they’ve been gobbled, and try to plan ahead to get three in a row. It’s simple to break down strategies for winning (such as when to use your biggest pieces) and teach them one at a time.

Lots of fun for kids and adults, surprisingly. My wife and I like to play after the kid goes to bed. You get so caught up in the "gobbling" strategy that you neglect basic tic-tac-toe strategy. My four year old actually beat me once fair and square for that reason. It's simple and fun.
Finding games to play with preschoolers that doesn't make you want to scream is a challenge. This is one that works.
This game is brilliantly designed - it is simple and challenging all at the same time and fun for the entire family. No one in my family (with ages ranging from 4 to 74) gets bored with this game. As much as my family loves it, I find it incredibly frustrating because I lose so often to my little kids! Highly recommended.
Gets you to think strategically. Well made game. The pieces are cute and make the game appeal to smaller children. This game is really good for any age! Highly recommend.
EXCELLENT for everyone ages 4 to 84.... I am ashamed to admit how much I love this "kid" game.
This game is more fun than I thought it would be. I take care of children from 2 years old to school age. I thought it might be a challenge for the school age kids because it is not just the typical Tic Tac Toe. But to my surprise, not just the school age children, but even the two year olds have fun with this game. I'm not sure how much any of the kids have skill or just luck at getting three in a row, but they have tons of fun "gobbling" the smaller pieces.
I originally ordered nesting "Ninjas" but returned them as my Son said they were too violent or our 7 yr. old Grandson. Since these nested I thought they might serve the same purpose. Also, he was able to figure out how to put the "game" together by looking at the picture on the box and got the idea of "tic-tac-toe" pretty quickly. He really enjoys it!
my kids 5, 7, and 11 have all enjoyed this super tic tac toe game. just when you think you have the win your opponent can cover your marker with theirs or move a piece already on the grid. fast and fun game
I never thought you could make tic tac toe so much fun. This is a fantastic game for kids and adults. We went on a trip overseas and took one to each family we visited. All the adults and kids spent hours strategizing on ways to beat their family members. Great gift for a family or kids' birthday. My kids are 6 and 7 and LOVE this game. Great for ages 5 to 95.
I purchased this to play with my five-year-old granddaughter. She loves it! It is taking her awhile to get the strategy down, but slowly she is getting it.
